Pinterest Creations

So, lately I have been giving a whole bunch of pinterest ideas a try. Some succeeded, while most did not. LOL. I attempted to make strawberry fruit snacks, and failed. lol. I attempted to make a ruffle scarf, and I failed. lol. It was absolutely terrible. I am actually embarrassed how ugly it was. haha.

I finally made something from pinterest that was good. I made 4 loaves of Artisan Bread, that we downed in a day. Yum. And then today I made Potato Fries, They are pretty good.

So I cut almost all the way through, and then drizzled butter, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and salt over them.
I preheated the oven to 425, and baked them uncovered for an hour and 15 minutes. The thinner you cut them the less time they take in the oven. I just couldn't get them any thinner without cutting all the way through.

Yum!

Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning?

I will never forget where I was and how I felt.
I was still asleep that day, when I was awaken by my mom.
She explained to me what was going on, and my siblings and I stayed home from school.
We watched the news, and were in horror of the footage when the unthinkable happened.
Another plane hit the 2nd tower. All I could feel was the pain in my heart for the people inside the towers and their families. Everyday we will never forget about the tragic loss of everyone in the towers, the Pentagon and the heroic passengers of flight 93.

We often forget about the people who were not in the Towers. But they fought just as hard to be able to change their fates, or see their loved ones again. Please, Remember, and never forget the unnamed heroes!

My whole world is falling down
Nine one one, nine one one.
In smoke and debris our loved ones drown
Nine one one, we say.

Husbands, brothers, sons, and dads
Nine one one, nine one one,
Wives and sisters, daughters, moms,
All come to help that day.

Senseless deaths from hate and war,
Nine one one, nine one one,
In our homeland or yonder shore,
When will it go away?

Our children need us to be there,
Nine one, one, nine one, one,
To give them tender love and care
that drives their fears away.

Even though its no longer standing, It brought American's together and still continues to do so.
We will always remember where we were and how we felt.
I pray that the families affected feel comfort throughout the years, and know we care.
I WILL NEVER FORGET!

Where were you when the world stopped turning on that September day?
Were you in the yard with your wife and children
Or working on some stage in L.A.?
Did you stand there in shock at the sight of that black smoke
Risin' against that blue sky?
Did you shout out in anger, in fear for your neighbor
Or did you just sit down and cry?

Did you weep for the children who lost their dear loved ones
And pray for the ones who don't know?
Did you rejoice for the people who walked from the rubble
And sob for the ones left below?
Did you burst out with pride for the red, white and blue
And the heroes who died just doin' what they do?
Did you look up to heaven for some kind of answer
And look at yourself and what really matters?

I'm just a singer of simple songs
I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN but I'm not sure I can tell
You the difference in Iraq and Iran
But I know Jesus and I talk to God
And I remember this from when I was young
Faith, hope and love are some good things He gave us
And the greatest is love

Where were you when the world stopped turning on that September day?
Were you teaching a class full of innocent children
Or driving down some cold interstate?
Did you feel guilty 'cause you're a survivor
In a crowded room did you feel alone?
Did you call up your mother and tell her you loved her?
Did you dust off that Bible at home?

Did you open your eyes, hope it never happened
Close your eyes and not go to sleep?
Did you notice the sunset the first time in ages
Or speak to some stranger on the street?
Did you lay down at night and think of tomorrow
Or go out and buy you a gun?
Did you turn off that violent old movie you're watchin'
And turn on "I Love Lucy" reruns?

Did you go to a church and hold hands with some strangers
Did you stand in line and give your own blood?
Did you just stay home and cling tight to your family
Thank God you had somebody to love?

And the greatest is love.
And the greatest is love.

Where were you when the world stopped turning on that September day?

hmm, nights alone.

Well, with Justin working all the time, I get bored really fast!
Luckily, my friend Chelsea, is always hanging with me.

So, last night we were watching a few episodes of Criminal Minds.
While we were watching the show, I got bored,
and started to stack the DVD cases like a deck of cards tower thing.

Here is how it started.

Then, that got tired, so I moved on to bigger!!
Decided to grab most of the DVD cases like this and build...

THIS!

I tried to make a angled roof, but I only succeeded for a couple seconds. So I had to settle with this.
Then, the hurricane force winds (a fan) came, and Godzilla (a barbie) knocked it down.

So, after that, Chelsea and I watched Hunger Games until 12:15am,
We got a little loopy, and spent about 20 minutes laughing and trying to pronounce the names of the cast and crew. Doesn't sound like fun, But it was very entertaining at midnight. lol.
